if you can see only

what light reveals
and hear
only what sound announces
then in truth you do not see,
nor do you hear.
假如你只能看到
光所显示的，
只能听到
声所宣告的，
那么实际上你没有看，
也没有听。

they deem me mad,
because i will not sell
l my days for gold;
and i deem them mad,
because they think my days
have a price.
他们认为我疯了，
因为我不肯
拿我的光阴去换金钱；
我认为是他们疯了，
因为他们以为我的光阴
是可以估价的。
